Prior to joining Manx Financial Group PLC in 2008, he was Group Financial Controller and later Finance Director of various UK and Isle of Man companies operating in the transport sector. In 2003 he managed the private equity backed acquisition of The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company for £142 million. In 2005 the company was sold for £225 million to a major Australian investment bank. In the 10 years of his involvement with Manx Financial Group PLC he has oversaw 7 strategic acquisitions with the latest being that of Bluestar, a Hampshire based Credit Broker, and he has been part of the management team that has successfully grown the business over that period.
