He graduated from the University of Stirling with a Bachelor of Accountancy in 1991. His career is anexampleof exemplary leadership combined with a strong foundation of strategy, operational expertise and a focus on execution. Prior to joining McDermott in August 2014, Stuart served as Vice President, Artificial Lift for Halliburton. Mr. Spence also served as Senior Director, Strategy and Marketing for Halliburton’s Completion and Production Division following Halliburton’s acquisition of Global Oilfield Services Inc. in November 2011. He was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Global Oilfield Services from 2008 to May 2011 and as the Executive Vice President, Strategy, in connection with the sale to Halliburton.
