EVP & CFO of General Motors Company DHIVYA SURYADEVARA ABOUT DHIVYA SURYADEVARA Dhivya Suryadevara was appointed executive vice president and Chief Financial Officer, effective September 1, 2018. Suryadevara is responsible for leading the company’s global financial and accounting operations. Suryadevara was named vice president, Corporate Finance, on July 1, 2017. She was responsible for Investor Relations, Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis, and special projects. She was previously vice president, Finance and Treasurer, from 2015-2017. In those roles she oversaw capital planning, capital market activities, and worldwide banking. Suryadevara also served as CEOand chief investment officer for GMAsset Management from 2013-2017. In this capacity, she was responsible for the management of business and investment activities of GM’s $85B pension operations and was instrumental in leading the de-risking effort for the plans. She has previously held various positions within GM’s finance function and outside GM at UBS Investment Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Suryadevara has an MBA from Harvard University and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Commerce from the University of Madras in India. She is a Chartered Accountant and a CFA charterholder. Suryadevara has been recognized for her career accomplishments, including Young Global Leader (World Economic Forum), 40 under 40 (Fortune magazine and Crain’s Detroit Business), Rising Stars (Automotive News) and others.
