Prior to becoming CFO, Stephen was a key part of the finance leadership team, including as Finance Director for Existing Business as well as leading a strategic review of the business in his time as Commercial Programme Director. Stephen joined Aegon UK in 2014 from Lloyds Banking Group where he was Chief Actuary. Stephen has been in the insurance industry since graduating from university in 1994 - spending most of his time prior to Lloyds in senior finance and actuarial roles at Phoenix Life Group.
