WANG LIANG FIRM PROFILE In 1987, China Merchants Bank (CMB) was founded in Shekou Industrial Zone of Shenzhen, the forefront of China’s reform and opening-up. It is China’s first joint-stock commercial bank wholly owned by corporate legal entities and the first pilot bank as China promoted reform in the banking industry with endeavors outside the government. WANG LIANG Mr. WANG Liang is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of CMB. He is a Senior Economist and holds a master’s degree in Money and Banking at Renmin University of China. On June 1995 ,he ioined China Merchants Bank. He served consecutively as Assistant General Manager, Vice General Manager and General Manager at CMB Beijing Branch since October 2001. Since June 2012, Mr. WANG served as Executive Assistant President of China Merchants Bank and General Manager of CMB Beijing Branch concurrently. On November 2013, he has no longer served as General Manager of CMB Beijing Branch. Since January 2015, Mr. WANG served as Executive Vice President of the Bank.
