Previously, Nelly was Vice President of Finance from 2010 to 2017. Before joining IEnova, Nelly was Vice President of Finance at El Paso Corporation in Mexico from 2001 to 2010. Prior to El Paso Corporation (Mexico), Nelly was General Manager of Kinder Morgan (Mexico) at the first natural gas distribution company in Hermosillo, Sonora from 1997 to 2001. Nelly is currently the chairman of the Issuers Committee of the Mexican Stock Exchange and board member of the International Chamber of Commerce Mexico. In 2015, Nelly was national president of the Mexican Institute of Finance. Nelly also was an independent board member of the Mexico International Airport Project and she is board member and founder investor of NatGas Querétaro. Nelly holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Universidad de Sonora and a master’s degree in Finance from the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey.
