João joined Sonae in 2014 to lead the Corporate Strategy team, having been responsible for strategic planning in collaboration with the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors. In 2015, João also became responsible for Planning and Control at the holding company. João holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Porto and an MBA from London Business School, having attended several executive management courses at New York University, Wharton School of Business and Chicago Booth.
