Prior to this appointment, Alan served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President for both Canfor and Canfor Pulp. Born and raised in Northern Ireland, Alan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Accounting from Bristol University, England in 1985. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia.
