Hui Yee was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO) of Malaysia Airlines Berhad in charge of effective risk management and strategic financial planning of the Malaysia Aviation Group of companies in May 2018. She holds a professional accounting qualification (ACCA) with more than 25 years’ experience across the various disciplines in finance.
She has been with Malaysia Airlines for over 13 years, holding various positions in the Finance department. This included successfully implementing various systems and improvement initiatives. She spent 1 year as one of the Track Leads in the MAS Restructuring Office, leading and supporting the MAS transition to the new airline. Prior to her promotion to GCFO, she led the Planning and Performance Management department in Malaysia Airlines overseeing the group’s planning, tax planning & compliance, management reporting and statutory reporting.
Prior to joining Malaysia Airlines, Hui Yee was with Vsource Ltd, a BPO company, as a Senior Solution Manager. She also spent 14 years in Singapore, working in various accounting and finance roles in various industries.
