Nonkululeko Dlamini, was appointed CFO of Transnet in 2020, after resigning from her position as CFO at the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC), after having served with the company for five years. She is a seasoned executive, with almost 20 years’ experience in financial roles in state-owned companies (SOC).
Nonkululeko’s work at the IDC saw her win the 2019 Public Sector CFO of the Year Award and she was also nominated for the 2018 CFO Awards.
Prior to joining the IDC, Nonkululeko spent 14 years working in various executive positions with Eskom where she served ad acting CFO until August 2015. She has also been a non-executive director of Kumba Iron Ore since November 2016.
Nonkululeko’s role as Transnet Group CFO sees her ensure financial prudence across the organisation, manage Transnet’s funding strategy, and ensure the Group’s financial sustainability.
